What the Painting Restoration Studio Does

Art Restoration NYC, LLC provides restoration treatments for easel paintings on canvas or board.

All work is performed by Andrei Givotovsky or under his direct supervision. Before and after photos are taken to document the restoration treatments. The studio also prepares appraisals and damage/loss reports for insurance claims. The studio does not restore works on paper such as engravings and prints.

Processes and Fees

  • Work brought into the studio is examined and a treatment proposal and cost estimate are given at no charge.

  • A general estimate may be given from images sent by email but will need to be confirmed after the work is examined by Andrei Givotovsky. Send inquiries to AGivotovsky@gmail.com

  • Written estimates prepared for insurance claims are created for a fee.
  • On location inspections and proposals are prepared for a fee.
  • A 50% down-payment may be required before work begins. Payments are only accepted by check or PayPal.
